PAs are good for patients: Within their scope of care, PAs (Physician Assistants) have shown themselves to be competent clinicians. PAs have been identifying as many skin cancers as their MD/DO peers.
PAs may not have the depth of training that physicians possess, but their scope of care definitely includes identifying suspicious lesions. PAs also have the ability to prescribe medications and perform minor procedures.
PAs help physicians to provide patients with the "old-fashioned" availability and care that is hard to attain in this day of modern medicine.
The next time you are in need of dermatological services, consider using our PA, Zach. You won't regret it! |
